Ya know....its really a comforting feeling knowing that while these guys are trying to protect us against terrorists, they're actually sweating about a few kilos of blow they're carrying.
The thing is: They have been caught. Can you immagine the real ammount of air marshals and people with military insignia that may be doing this around the world at this very same time?

That's always the first thing I think when I read a news story about a drug bust; most stories I've read always involve something stupid and random like smugglers being stopped for a dead tail-light in a car that obviously smells of weed. Seeing how the chances of being stopped by traffic cops for a minor offence is pretty low, it follows that stupendous amounts of drugs get smuggled without any problems.
Does not at all surprise me to be honest. There's a number of police and troopers around here running protection on a coke smuggling ring. Some of them clamp down on competition hard, and others sell it. Why wouldn't it go up higher on the food chain of government servants?

You guys are slow, we've been having that here for a year.
First of all it was the person caught alledgely smuggling 'drugs that were not hers, and were put in by air staff'.
Then it was found a few had done that, and they were arrested.
Then we had the guy who went through someone's pack, finding a camel suit. They proceeded to put this camel suit on and run around... making himself visible to the plane where the owner was seated... he too was prosecuted.
Now we just have a whole bunch of prejudice to bag handlers etc.
The real question is, would you pay me to? I could get Rachel to sew me up whatever suit I wanted.
