Yes, a bit, you'll especially want to have Morte and Da'kon at the end, though the others are also nice (I prefer Da'kon, Annah, Morte, Nordom and fall from grace).

No point in taking him, until the end since he doesn't say much. However, you should activate it. Also, while you can't interact with it, your reputation with Grobnar and Bishop is going to be somewhat important if you activate it.

In the OC, I agree with Gawain on melee versus casters, however the same can't be said for MotB. Due to the Enchanting system, with enough melee attacks (so dual wield is great) you can get insanely powerful. Add to that, for most of MotB you are heavily discouraged from resting, which makes melee c...

I'm fairly sure you can rest (and keep in mind it isn't dangerous until later in the game). Summons (and buffs) give most bang for your buck, also, put together the golem for some extra punch.

The lack of a shield isn't really that problematic, you can still block melee, and you deal far more damage with a great hammer. Ranged enemies are slightly more problematic, though every spell school has a way to deal with those. If you use destruction, you can always fling fireballs while closing,...

It's fine, the wait command keeps things fairly simple, if you don't want to get roasted simply wait, and if you forget yourself when exiting a dungeon, you can simply turn around. Unfortunately the time within Oblivion doesn't really match the time outside it. Nothing makes me feel more stupid than...

I picked imperials simply because they seemed far more pragmatic. Starting a war against the Thalmor seems like a good way to provoke them into committing genocide. Also, if you played the main quest, you might remember that Ulfric has some rather, eh awkward connections. While the imperials did try...

Also, ask friends which quests are worth doing, there are plenty of boring quests, but some nice ones (I quite enjoy the thieves guild and Dark Brotherhood quests for instance). Another thing is to try to play as something other than the "master of all" it is too easy to become. Like a vegetarian hi...

I used to be the same. Part of the problem is that most games have an interesting beginning and end, with much less happening in the middle. Witcher got its swamp, Dragon Age has the deep roads etc. So try to keep in mind that most games pick up towards the end. Also, change your strategy to make th...

Depends on what you are looking for, KotOR has a better story (It's basically a better SW-style story than the movies), has more enjoyable encounters, and also provides some neat background for TOR. I'd say TOR has better balance (in KotOR, wearing a robe, and maxing Dex makes you godlike), in addit...

If I remember correctly, you learn it while Geralt is asleep/dizzy in Triss' room, so Geralt doesn't know but you do.

Seeing as all the IE games have systems that can be easily exploited, I honestly don't see why a few exploits make it "the worst" However the waves, in addition to the fact that the terrain can often be used to actually let the fighters tank , as well as the 3ed rules, and the fact that encounters a...

The reason why most threads are about powergaming is because IWD2 probably has the best combat of the infinity engine games. The story is fine, with some nice moments ("I have another suggestion, how about we load the airship with explosives and "land" it on the bridge" is probably the funniest repl...

Since you get Imoen once you loose Yoshimo, taking him is fine. However since you are taking Anomen you might want to go with Jan since he loves teasing the guy. As long as Yoshimo gets to hit things that aren't hitting back (because a tank an summons are making their life dificult) he's nice, the t...

Should work fine, however Keldorn is a fair bit better at tanking/bashing heads than Mazzy (partly because he has better stats/feats and partly being a paladin and the equipment he can thus use).

I'm not sure to be honest, three of your members are off tanks, and with summons from the other two it might work out fine. If you want a tank I'd suggest cheating to change the class of another NPC (since Korgan and Aerie don't mix).

Can't really offer much advice on party composition (I always pick the ones I like and to hell with efficiency), however, pick a wild mage as your class. It's just a mage with a small (5% IIRC) chance of having every spell turn out very, very different. Being a specialized mage with no forbidden sch...
