Question for Sacred players

Just this:

Is Sacred like Diablo in that there's non-stop, unpausable action? I personally prefer the Divine Divinity/BG/IWD/PS:T approach, where you're in realtime but can pause and make inventory changes, spell changes, drink potions, etc.

I'll have to check to be sure, but - in the demo at least - the pause disables everything. I think. I dunno if you can pause the action while in the inventory, but as far as I can make out the interface is designed to make extensive use of hotkeys and quickslots, much like diablo.

It's pretty much nonstop action, nothing like BG2 or Planescape: Torment. But it's good fun nonetheless. It sucks though that after clearing an entire area of critters, they respawn once you leave. So when you come back you'll have to fight them all over again...and again...and again. Especially that Orc infested desert is annoying. Good thing though, that you can equip items that instantly kill creatures of much lower level than your character is, on sight. Saves you from a lot of trouble.
