Need help with an Oblivion Elder Scrolls IV quest...please

Im trying to do the "A brush with death quest" and I have found out that Tivaela is, unfortunately, dead.
I remember now, I was trying to feed on her, and she woke up and attacked me, and then some creature appeared out of NO WHERE and killed her.
What should I do?
No, I am not able to go back to when BEFORE I killed her, theres no saved game data past the one I am playing on now.
By the way, I am playing Oblivion on the P.C.
Please help me.
