Why does it appear as if I'm only gaining XP at a rate of 1/10th?

According to the Prima Guide an Orc is worth 150 XP. Therefore if my party of 4 dispatches 4 Orcs each member should get 150 xp. Unfortunately they are only getting 15xp. What's wrong with this picture?

There are several kinds of Orcs in the game which are of different levels, i don't believe that a level 1 Orc is worth 150xp but i don't know for sure. Do you think that this happens with all of your fights? If this is the case you must gain levels very slowy.

I seriously doubt that an ordinatry Orc is worth 150 XP. I think 15 is more likely since that's how much Orcs are worth in IWD. I really hated to make that comparison but it makes sense that way.
