The best dual class ?

I read the forum and it seems clerc/paladin, monk/paladin and barbare/monk are good multiclassing.
I want to make the adventure with 4 caracters dual-classing.
Wich combos are best ?
I think to have :
clerc/paladin
rogue/?
barbare/monk
sorcerer/?
Could i level up this 4 caracters to 16/16 ?

Thanks

First, you cannot have a barbarian/monk because of alignment problems.

As to the characters, if you are looking for balance and the ability to use all of the items in the game, you probably want something like this:

Cleric/Paladin
Sorcerer/Barbarian
Rogue/Ranger
Fighter/Monk

This gives you a broad range of characters and you should be able to reach 32 levels on them (or at least get close) if you clear everything out.

Some other things to consider: Check stats that are important for a class and try to double up. I.e., Charisma is important for paladins and sorcerers, so maybe you want to use that as a dual and forget about stacking the turn undead ability with a paladin/cleric. Wisdom is important for clerics and monks, also paladins and rangers on a secondary level, so maybe it makes more sense to make a cleric/monk. Dexterity is crucial for a rogue (who also is the only class that needs intelligence), so by doubling a ranger and a rogue and having the ranger be mostly an archer (dexterity crucial for bows) you can sacrifice some strength for intelligence.

Play around with it.

With 4 character it's very likely to reach 32th level on each on.

Here is my suggestion:

Paladin/Cleric - turns anything (except Mohrgs and Revenants)
Rogue/Sorcerer (just to be able to use all the magic staff in game)
Cleric/Fighter - (Max cleric level to have powerfull spells sooner or take Faeril with you)
Sorcerer/fighter (You can use Jarial too)
or Monk/Paladin

try this :
fighter/barbarian :flvl6 firts then barb lvl6 then gradualy :
-many of the best feats (cleave, fast move, run, rage.....)

ranger/rogue : gradualy, but start with the ranger
-sneak att, HP, favored enemy, good feat of the ranger

Rangers are useless in this game, the only thing they get is favored enemy.
I would do a 3 character party if i was multiclassing everyone.
Monk/Fighter
Rogue/Barbarian
Paladin/Cleric
