Sorcerer has only one magic missile at level 3

Hi,

I am pretty new to the game and have a serious problem. First of all, I took the characters that were already made by the computer because I didn't know which scores you need to have.

Now my Sorcerer is level 3 and cannot get any Level 2 spells and fires only one magic missile instead of two

I could choose one more spell from level 1 when I levelled up (took charm person) but could not choose any spell from level 2

My charisma is 18 and with some boots I even have 22. So this can't be the reason...

And another question. When do you get new feats? My characters are all level 3 by now and did not get any newe feats

I already have installed patch1.4.

Welcome to GameBanshee.

I played that game 3 years ago, so there is only one question I can answer. You learn your first level 2 spell, when your sorcerer gets to level 4. (It is written in the game manual.)

About the feats, you can search this forum, there are threads that may or may not answer your question.

About the patch, did you follow every instruction? Did you install the 1.1 patch before the 1.4.

Also, did you try to do a search on the official Pool of Radiance forum? I just tried, but the forum is not working properly right now.
