Question solo or not for the first game?

I have 2 games started. And i never finish one ether (i don't know what look like the halls of stone...) One solo with a PAL/MONK and the second with 5 characters.

Do you think its a better idea to finish the game with my solo char or with the party?

thanks

Since there is no role play in the game, i can't actually say what's best so do what you like most , but keep in mind that it's very hard to pass the first dungeons with a solo character.

Maybe start the game with a full party the first time to see if you can make it and then switch to solo. In each case the game is fun if you like "hack and slash" tactics

I have managed it solo from the start and yes it is difficult for a bit, starting as a barbarian with cleave makes a big difference and adding cleric and rogue in there so the xp come in thick and fast in and you do better with the undead.

I have found out that Paladin/Monk multi class character maybe the best class to solo the game. And you don't actually need the rogue class to finish the game either. But then again every class has it's fun either playing solo or not.

My favorite run through the game was with a Paladin/Monk, but I switched back to BG and IWD after the bugs/crashes became too overwhelming. I suggest you go with Paladin up to lvl 8 then start adding Monk and don't take off the armor until lvl 8/8,
