question???

I JUST BROUGHT THIS GAME A COUPLE OF DAYS AGO. i AM IN THE FIRST DUNGEON AND HAVE ENCOUNTERED SOME SOUGHT OF BLACK UNDEAD CREATURE. INSTEAD OF TAKING HIT POINTS HE TAKES STRENGTH ATRIBUTES. aRE THE POINTS THAT HE TAKES AWAY TEMPORARY OF PERMANENT IS SO HOW CAN i GET THEM BACK. tHANKS FOR ANSWERING

The black undead creatures are shadow or master shadow. They drain your strength temporary and you can restore it either by sleeping (too slow) or using potions, wands or the spell of restoration. Keep in mind that this creatures can only be harmed by +1 or better weapons.

Why Waste your potions...... Whenyou sleep you regain 1 point of what you lost(works with any ability lose) So find a safe place (green tent) and just sleep over and over again. A strong cleric can turn these creatures easily keep trying.. then destroy with magic missiles...
