Ok, here is how i beat Pelendaalar. Use the characters with the best saving throws at the front, Paladins have natural high saving throws especially if they have high charisma. If you don't have a character with high saving throws there are several magical items that boost your saves(Ring of Calming comes in mind). Use any spells that boost your AC and bonus attack as well and don't use magic against the dragon(his resistance is somewhere to 36 so no point of targeting his with magic) but keep your spellcasters behind to support your melle fighter with healing and protection Spells. There are two items in the game that really make a difference Draedsweord Daemoniac and the Daemonclaws of Gr’Zak. Equip the character with the higher saves with these two items and haste him/all. With 4+ attacks per round and each hit doing 60-80 points of damage the dragon will be dead after a short while.
