I'm carrying around all those notes and idol heads scattered about the place. i think it's safe to throw those notes away but wat about those small idol heads (idolon) that i keep finding? any use?

Yes the idolons are used to exchange for rings at a large stone statue. It is located near the open area with the 3 dark nagas and near the Ear of Myth Drannor.
I've got about 10 of them and got pretty cool rings from them.
