Lost object and dwarf tomb

1)I've read a tread about naga kiss
The vials of naga blood required are four, so i think i've lost one: is there a way to obtain lost objects?
2) In the main halls, how are you supposed to activate the device in the middle of a round room where you hear dwarves stomping their feet?

i've heard nottle sometimes has items.

if you have the ancient rusted iron key you get teleported to the level below. if you don't have it you could just take the nearby stairs.
