i've been wandering how to free him

and in the end found this site, and told me to touch him with a magic ring.

well, i've got a ring of protection +1 that doesn';t do anything when i touch himis ter another specific ring i must get to free him??

You have to touch the stone that bolts him to the ground. Af for the rings, you need a magical one and by now you should have found a few, i think that ring of protection +1 should work but if not try out Ring of Cold of any ring that raises you stats(ex. ring of strength). The rings can be found in the Main halls so if you don't have them yet wonder a while more until you get one.

Equip the Golden Band; Ring of Protection. And with this character make a atack in the rock. This will set the sorcerer free.
I can´t remember the right place, but the ring is in that dungeon in some cheast.
