Help Please

im playing por rmd. im in the catacombs so ive been playing for a while and all of a sudden my characters stopped being able to fight. when i put the cursor over the enemy the little man with the sword appears but when i click the mouse nothing happens anymore, they dont attack. i can still move around but when i try to attack nothing. i had patch 1.4 downloaded already so i removed it and added it again. i even put patch 1.3 and still nothing. i tried to load an earlier saved game but the same thing happend. dont know what to do. get i reload the game or some thing and still start at the same point. i really dont want to start over now after playing for so long. please help if you can. thank you

Let's see... are your enemies attacking correctly?

If so, the only thing I can really think of is that there is a connection with the combat round. Maybe it think you've taken too much of a turn of something.

What about area effect spells? Can you attack that way?

It is a known bug. Try not buffing before the fights, it happens when I use bless or shield of faith almost 90% of the time. Also, the only way to revert it is reloading
