Glitch on Catacombs level 3?

I had the map open on level 3 of the catacombs and i noticed something odd. In the bottom left hand corner, close to where you take the stairs to the next level, theres a white circle just off the side of the map. It looks very much like the coloured circles that represent your party's characters. Does anyone know what this is or what it represents? Just a glitch or something secret i havent figured out how to unlock?

I looked on other maps and it doesnt appear on any that i can find and my curiosity has gotten the better of me so i thought id ask if anyone knows.

I'm quite sure that it's a glitch.
The same thing happened to me in the Ancient Tomb and there wasn't anyone either...so I think it's the same in this case.
