Direct Play Application--??

Just for the heck of it I ran a DxDiag and under KTab it tells me this:The registry info for the DirectPlay application of POR2 is missing or damaged. You should reinstall that application...
Just how serious is this? Has this anything to do with the occasional crashes I get? If I need to reinstall, how do I do it?
One way or the other, I would appreciate whatever info you guys come up with...
