| As a general tactic for difficult fights is before you enter the battle
prepare your party by casting some defensive spells on them. use any spells that raise the AC of the characters (Aid, shield, shield of faith etc) and spells that provide better attack bonuses(Prayer, divine power etc). When the fight starts use any area effect spells (fireball, cone of cold, lighting bolts) and you will eventually defeat them. If you are fighting a large group of enemies you can always try to charm aa few to join your side and make thing easier (charm person/monster, dominate etc).
