BIG BIG problem!!!!

I just recently got an Nvidia GeForce 2 MX 400 video card. It replaced my Voodoo 3 3000. With my Voodoo 3 card I was pulling 45-50 fps. I got this card thinking i would have great Direct3D support. With the GeForce 2 MX 400 i only get 35 fps when the characters are NOT moving. When they do it goes down to 19 fps. Its not even playable. Please guys you really got to help me out here. Is there anything I can do to pull this up to a good FPS? Thanks for all your support.

Have you checked to make sure you have the latest drivers for your video card?

Check your DirectX drivers then, the latest are 8.0a, maybe this is the problem.

From what I know, the Geforce II card has problems with PoRII (or should I say, the other way around...). PoRII does not support direct3D. Some people have gotten around this by using older drivers. Personally, I would check with Tech support over at Ubi, though from what I've heard, they aren't very 'helpful'.
