| Blump, it seems you're used to the Baldur's Gate style of classing. But in 3rd edition multiclass dont exist anymore - only what you would call dual class in BG. You can choose up to three classes, with a few penalties, every time you level up, one class each level up. For example: you can have a level one fighter, level one thief level three mage. Or a level three fighter dualed to a cleric. So you wont be able to create multiclass characters when you start playing - only afterwards, when leveling up. Yes this is frustrating for those used to 2nd edition rules - but 3rd edition rules are more flexible. |
