Tattoos

Still haven't started playing, but I'm curious about tattoos. They aren't covered in the manual. Can you get more than one? If that's the case, how many and can you add more than one tattoo that contributes to the same type of statistics? You know, a tattoo that adds 2 charisma plus a tattoo that adds 1 charisma? That's something you can't normally do with equipment in D&D games.

You can have up to three tattoos at a time and yes, the effects stack. So you could say use two +1 to Wisdom tattoos and one +2 to Wisdom tattoo to get a total of +4 Wisdom bonus.

Edit: Oh, and presumably merchants keep selling any one tattoo infinitely?

Only the +1 and +2 ones, IIRC. But the +2 ones are only usable by certain classes.

Worth noticing is that the tattoos change over time, due to the cource you take through the game. Playing different classes with different NPCs and doing different decisions will lead to a very different selection of tattoos.
