Reviving Characters? (I need a "how to" guide)

This is my first time through Planescape. Never did I think I'd find something so incredible and on par with Fallout. Next game is Arcanum: Of Steamworks and Magick Obscura, hopefully that stands up.

But my question is - How do I revive my party members when they die?

Tell me it's not the end for good like in Fallout.

When your people die, you'll notice that their portrait turns... well, dead. Cast a resurrection spell of some kind targeted on that portrait, and you shall be saved.

You can learn the reviving special ability by talking about certain things with the ghost of Deionarra in the mortuary basement.
