| | | Mortuary trifles Hi, everybody! I'm here for the first time, sorry for any mistakes,
English is not my native language.
I've just started game anew and have some ??? concerning Mortuary.
1. Corpse # 965, that circles. Morte explains the Rule of 3. Does it have any
importance?
2. Can I help corpse #1201, with a note in the mouth, he wanted his
body to be burned for a consideration, can I give this consideration to
anyone who'll destroy him, because if I myself kill him, it's only
for a while, as Morte said
3. Is there any intrigue about corpse with 2 numbers
(506 & 78)?
4. Is there any use of a crowbar, except opening locks? There's
a note that some guy in Mortuary needs it.
5. How can I use belts from skeletons?
And one more: Who is waiting Old Man Copper Eyes for? (I don't know his exact name in English) |

| | Well, Grimar, thanks anyway! I was afraid there wouldn't be answers at all! These things are not so important but I'm very inquisitive , especially about #1, because Nameless even wrote that in his diary! |

| | I thought I was the only one starting this game for the first time, only six years after its release! Fashionably late, we are!
I've recently read thru many walkthroughs, mostly for "New Life" advise, so as to formulate a rough gameplan for the developement of Nameless.
Unfortunately, my 'inquisitiveness' makes me accidentally read a little more than I originally intend...
Minor Spoiler:
Later in the game, you'll revisit the Mortuary, potentially with a new way of 'communicating' with some of the inhabitants.
Maybe some interesting things will be revealed? Can't wait to see...

| | CFM, yes, revisiting Mortuary is a good idea, thanks! Can't wait seeing what will come of it!
PS: Here I've found a very good guide to PT, with many fresh (for me) ideas! |

| | | You stilli having the problems that started out this thread, Mira? Since I notice you now have a walkthrough at hand.
--And yes, it remains probably my favorite RPG of all time; certainly among the top five, and I became reviewing games for magazines almost two decades, ago. It certainly has the finest writing that I've seen in any game.

| | A word of advice: stay far away from walkthroughs and forums your first run through the game. Having an unresolved quest or two is the lesser evil than reading a spoiler or becomming used to using the walkthrough and not paying enough attention to details within the game (it's happened to me several times ).
Of course, if you do decide to ask us other questions, we'll be still happy to answer; just don't become over-realiant on outside information about the game - it'll lose its touch

| | | I couldn't agree more.
After every session that I played Baldur's Gate II, I'd immediately check out a walkthrough to see if I'd missed anything. The walkthroughs are very good, too good in fact. I couldn't help but read too much and have other parts of the game spoiled.
Resist the urge! Mind over matter! Just say No!
My Nameless-Developement-Gameplan has been formulated... so, no more walkthroughs!
(I hope.)
