what does missile of patience do?

As I understand it, it's a spell that gets more powerful as the user's level (?) increases. When you first get it, it's going to probably do 3 points of damage, or less, but this drastically increases throughout the game and is supposedly very powerful at level 8+.

Had anyone actually tested it? It would be nice to know the actual statistics for this spell.

I don't know any specific stats, but I believe the first few times you use it, it's a sling (dealing somewhere around 1-3 damage), next it's a bow (dealing somwhere around 5-8) and finally it's a ballista, dealing damage every time you click, and each click dealing about 8-ish damage. I'm sure there's a website out there somewhere with specifics, but I'm too lazy to search for it.
