how do you piss the lady of pain off?

i want to get into the players maze and i hear that you can only get into it if you piss the lady off how is this done? or is it part of the story and i will get the soon im up to the part where your looking for the nighthag ravil or something

To get mazed by the Lady of Pain (do this only once - she'll kill you permanently the 2nd time):

1) Talk to the priest in the ruined church in the Alley of Dangerous Angles and agree to become one of his god's followers. When you exit the Alley, the Lady will maze you.

2) Obtain one of the Lady of Pain dolls, take it out to a crowded area and mock it multiple times, then try to leave the area.

You can also worship the doll--unless that's what you mean by "mocking" it.
