Getting Morte a body...

I found a way to get Morte a body! Well, sort of.

1. Leave Morte in the Civil Festhall or something.
2. Go to a Clerk's ward harlot.
3. Talk to her, and tell Morte to... uh... do whatever he does with harlots.
4. You'll notice a zombie standing superimposed with the harlot. If you talk to the zombie, he says, in a familiar voice, "I knew you'd be back, chief! Finally realized you needed me, huh?" I said "sure, let's go." At this point, the game crashed, so it's a bug, and no, you can't have Morte with a zombie body following you around. Ah well.

Are you sure it can be done? I've tried all the skeleton/zombies in the upper room of the Mortuary and I always get the reply that the bodies wouldn't be good enough...or something like that! Lol

hey, i think the zombie is just something the designers put in if there is ever a situation where a certain character has to talk but he isn't there.

From the planescape: torment Readme:

"The Ubiquitous Zombie
This bug is believed to be fixed in all situations. If you have a
conversation which requires a 3rd person who is not present, The Ubiquitous
Zombie will appear and take the part of the other character.
This keeps the conversation from crashing the game and ensures the
player doesn't miss any critical game dialog. It is a bug, but at least
it's fun!"
