| Game crashes immediately after character generation
Hey guys,
I need some help with a problem. I've already looked through many threads and I haven't found a solution yet.
I have the 1.1 patch and I am running on Windows XP.
basically the problem is that after I create my character the game always crashes during loading, saying that torment has encountered a problem.
AppName: torment.exe AppVer: 1.0.0.1
ModName: torment.exe
ModVer: 1.0.0.1 Offset: 00001201
I have tried full install
In compatibility mode my whole computer crashes
the 1.37 patch doesn't help
I defragged my drive but that didn't help
Also the torment.ini file is configured correctly so that it recognizes where the drives are.
umm.. basically I am at a loss as to why it is crashing. Any help would be greatly appreciated. |
