Question Dak'kon's spells

The NPC Dak'kon starts out with 'special' spells from that book of his. He has progressed some levels now, but no new 'special' spells have appeared. Do I simply buy him regular mage spells from now on? Or is there a way for him to gain more of his Githzeri spellas? Thanks, in advance.

Just have him learn more spells from scrolls. If you're playing a mage and have sufficient INT & WIS, and you ask Dak'kon to teach you the Way of Zerthimon, you can teach him (and yourself) some more of his unique spells. See NPC Conversations - Dak'kon for more details.

When I'm not playing a mage, what I do is buy all the WIS tattoos and save up the Cranium Rat charms, switch to mage, apply the tattoos and use the charms to boost INT & WIS, so I can unlock the final circles to power up Dak'kon.

Standard operational procedure for me, too. Dak'kon's "book" has a couple of spells even he's unaware of, since the wisdom that would unlock these pages are currently not his. Your wisdom is the key to unlocking those pages both for him, and for you.
