+2 int. by talking to Nordom?

Can someone tell me, is it true that the nameless one gets +2 to intellegence when he first talks to nordom, as claimed by this site? http://www.planetbaldursgate.com/pst...ron_maze.shtml

because if this is true then i probably don't want to put that extra stat point into intellegence. You only need a 19 intellegence, right? (for a mage)

Actually, It isn't the Nameless One that gains the intelligence, it's Nordom.
