Question the urges of vampires

To be honest I have never played the white wolf board game, and I don't follow the vampire mythology that white wolf has published.
So, can you please tell me ... Why don't the vampires in the game have sexual urges? When you die, does the lower part die with you also?

Short discourse...

It depends on how you play of course. A vampire might still be attracted to the other or same gender and probably has still the kinks she had in her life. You can even spend blood to use your sexual organs again, but you probably won't get to climax and their are no body fluids save then blood.

The Toreador or Brujah with their connections to the mortal world will be more inclined toward a sexual relationship ( even if it's only for feeding or domination purposes, i.e. the Toreador who has a relationship with a living artist ) then a Gangrel or Tremere. Priorities change with time, so older vampires are not that much interested in it anymore, while younger ones might still feel the need for sex. Likewise, vampires with a low humanity ( 5 or 4 and lower ) won't be able to have sex, while ones with high humanity values ( 6 and higher ) might still be interested.

As this really has nothing to do with V:TM, I'm moving it to Pen 'n Paper Discussion.

Keep in mind that while humans have real urges vampires only crave blood and they occasionally cling to aspects of thier former lives. They can't really gain any pleasure by it other than the pleasure of completing the act they wanted to complete. Not any physical pleasure.

This is it, in a nut shell. Vampires do not actually have feelings or passion for anything other than blood. Rather, they have "rembrances" of feeling from their mortal life. So, to feel any sort of romantic feelings would probably be a direct out growth of an "echo" from their mortal life. It's for this reason, that children who are embraced never really cease being children. The vampires one and only true passion is blood.

Also, not to get too graphic, but a vampire can't... Achive anything from sex, if you catch my meaning. You can... Do the wild thing all night if you want, because you'll never get tired or run out of breath, but in the end, the only pleasure your cold, dead flesh will derive from it is if you decide to take the opertunity to feed.
I've had people try and argue that it doesn't state anywhere in the core book that vampires can't... Reach the finaly goal of a physical relationship... But the Guide To The Sabbat mentions the futility of these actions under the Nyphomaniac derangment.

It also says it in the old 2nd ed books somewhere expressly.

It does, however, mention that a vampire can force blood to areas in order to mimic certain functions.

It brings to mind a Brujah I played who had a bunch of prostitute ghouls.

Remember kids, Potence, Celerity and sexual relations don't mix!
