| | | Thanks Xan. I haven't been here in too long, I didn't know where it was supposed to go. Sorry.
LOL
DARN IT VIC! People weren't supposed to know it was me >< How did you know by the way?
I wanted people's opinion based on the artist alone. I've posted this up on other forums, and they usually took the rating value more linearly because I made the songs. DON'T DO THAT, just rate the songs you would as if any other person made it.
Also, did anyone download it up to this point?

| | IM,
When you posted here before you released your real name, it matches the name of the techno artist pretty closely. I immediately knew it was you as well. I'm sure anyone here who remembers you figured it out.
Anyway, proceed.

As for the pieces, now I'm by far no musical expert but some of my favorite genres are trance and techno.
I do like your "Ready for Aything" and "Revolutions part 2" tacks because it feels they have a good flow and harmony. Well done on them.
I do not really like neither Bio-HaZard or "From the Depths of Time" because they felt to "sporadic" and random, almost strained (if you follow what I mean) It was as if you tried to much in them, instead of - what techno is much about in my view - keeping it somewhat simple. |

| | | I personally like all forms of Techno and Trance, but I also like speedcore and HipHop/Techno.
Bio-HaZard is a speedcore in that it's BPM is higher than most of my songs. It's beat is spontaneous and keeps comin at you.
From the Depths of Time is a HipHop/Techno in that it has that hiphop vibe, but is indeed techno. I chose to make it in a way, where it starts out all all calm and rational and then drag it out into an entire song.
Most people like Bio-HaZard and From the Depths of Time the best, because they are the least repetitive.
I personally, like you Xandax like Revolution part 2 [and 1] and Ready for Anything the best out of all of my songs.

| | | I like techno to an extent. The sound is alright, but if the voice is not there or is not a good voice, then I won't listen to it. I prefer techno, EBM, industrial, and darkwave music that distorts an actual voice into something quite entertaining.
Bands that do that-
God Module
Velvet Acid Christ
Wumpscut
Schwarz Stein
But, then there are some that do not distort the voice that still entertain me, such as E Nomine. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
