Their adventure line was doing decently until for some reason, management decided to focus on Star Wars titles instead and ditched developing adventure games. Maybe because of the large Star Wars fan base, I don't know but ditching a line which isn't loosing money does raise some eyebrows.

Grim Fandango was the the death blow. Basically they created a great game that got great reviews, but still didn't sell. What else were they supposed to do? SW seems like a solid choice.

| | If I may poke my head in here for a game nod, Assassin's Creed has really held my interest. I'm far more into it than I was TES: Oblivion. It's tactical, beautiful, and even though I'm only half way through, the fact that not everything is as it seems is keeping me hooked.
Only thing that irks me about this game is the repetitive scouting in cities and the guard AI in some areas, but if anyone was on the edge of buying this game like I was, I'd say go for it. |

| | Lately i've been redoing my Oblivion char on 360, since my first 1 didn't really end up as I liked. But Im just about done with the game...again & I'll be thinkin about going back to some of our past pc games.
Games been playing for (XB 360):
Oblivion - Assassin's Creed - Call of Duty 4
Games maybe playing (for Pc):
Heroes Might & Magic II, III, Heroes Chronicles Master of the Elements (still a great game), BG2 (if we even have it), Icewind Dale 1, HoW ...or I may go out n' buy HoMM V or The Witcher.
Also wishing I had the 3 other sequels to that Heroes Chronicles
Clash of the Dragons - Wastelands - Underworld

What I've gathered from personal experience and from discussions from different forums, there has some bad coding been made in HoMM V, and thus the game is very, very laggy even if your computer is better than recommended requirements. It seems that one should have top of line computer to actually be able to play it without lag. And the lag is so bad, that it's almost unplayable.
Just a warning before you run to shop to buy it, you probably will get dissapointed.

| | | Anyone here gonna try out the Football Manager Live beta version? I'm on the verge of signing up, so I guess I'll add it to the list of games I'm currently playing.

Lag is not a problem for me because I have a very, very, very good computer. I got the game from a friend. His computer is not as good as mine, so he had a little lag, but it was pretty much okay. So I don't know what this lag issue is. Maybe it's because there is a lot of lag on some other versions but not on mine.
