@Coot, have you checked on eBay or Amazon? These kinds of things sometimes show up, there. Be sure to check with the seller about disk size.
Personally, I had a friend make 3 1/2" floppy copies of a few 5 3/4" floppy originals for me, a year ago. Since then, we've also set up some older CPUs upstairs, with both sized floppy bays. I've not had any problem running these games on Win98, though some require small programs you can get for free on the Web that slow down animation.
WinXP is a bigger problem. Typically, I've turned off sound, since it plays, but with mixed up registers. Resolution and color can also be difficulties. I've tried in all cases to use shortcuts that are set for retro compatibility. This doesn't always work; Balor of the Evil Eye, one of KOEI's best PC games, displays an almost invisible cursor on the XP, for instance. But it's worth experimenting to see what you can get.
