Some RTS that will run on this video card.

Hmm, thinking of getting a new game here soon for me laptop, dunno what yet. My card is very very old, it's an ATI MRadeon 7500 (the equivelant of a Geforce 2 about) and am curious as to what semi decent RTS would run on it?

Starcraft and all the warcrafts I have, I would prefer the world building games rather than the civilization games (Games like Starcraft and age of Empires rather than Civilization or the Sims).

Anybody seen a good game out there like that?

Games I have and/or don't want/need-

Age of Empires- all
Majesty
Starcraft
Warcraft (Up to III: Frozen Throne)

Total System Specifications-
Windows XP Pro
512 ram
Intel 1.8 GhZ processor
ATI Mobility Radeon 7500 32 MB.

Well, you could try Rise of Nations. A very good world building game. Same goes for the Empire Earth series (both I&II).

Rise of nations Rise of Legends I don't think runs on my laptop, is there an earlier version or something?

Also, empire earth I heard was pretty good actually. So I'll look into that.

Try Earth 2150, it's available as a re-release by I think Red Ant and won't cost very much at all.

Red Alert 2, is alright too, though admitably not greatly balanced.

I wasn't referring to Rise of Nations: Rise of Legends. I was referring to Rise of Nations (by itself). Rise of Legends is the sequel to Rise of Nations. Rise of Nations does not need a powerful PC as it is still using a 2D engine at that time.

I don't know how easy they'll be to find, but try Total Annihilation and its various expansions. it's pretty old, but the graphics aren't bad at all and I used to run it on my old computer with a 450mhz processor and no graphics card. oh, and it's a very good game.

You can also try out Battle Realms. Not a bad game, in my opinion.

EDIT: I almost forgot about this game. Just came to mind when I logged on.

Total Annihilation aka the greatest RTS ever. Or possibly the TA:Spring (free version of TA in a new engine).
