Heya all... im not going to go into any major detail about how bed-wettingly awesome this game looks. Because you all know

I just wrote to say how aboslutely stoked i am about haveing the limited edition (metal case) version ordered, and to find out what you guys dream/expect from the game. What you're looking forward to etc.... any views?

I'm hoping they improved upon the horrible level design. I quickly go sick of seeing the same looking hallway time after time in a level that never seemed to end.

from what ive seen of multiplayer preview the levels are a lot better... i guess your thinking of boarding action? and wizard? right?

I just cant wait to use 2 guns at the same time. 2 pistols, or 2 needlers. its going to be awsome, and I to have the limited edition pre-ordered. i just hope they make the sniper rifle zoom in more.

Me and my friend will prolly coop through the whole thing the first time we play. He used to get annoyed when I would use the needler..now I get to use two of them! WEEEEEEHAAAAAAA!

yea, i reserved the limited edition metal case one... it's only metal on the outside though... so i guess it's metal plated

anyway i'm just SUPER TOTALLY STOKED ABOUT PLAYING ONLINE! USING THE ONLINE COMUNICATOR... (*" I just killed the opponent 10 times in a row "*) I say,
"BOOYAH! IN YOUR FACE! I'M BETTER THAN YOU!!! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!" lol bottom line: I JUST CAN'T WAIT TILL IT COMES OUT!

Dude... forget two needlers! Energy Swords are the way forward... specially w/ support.

As a side thought, have any of you tried halo 1 multiplayer just running around sticking plas grenades to people???

#1 i alredy got cable hooked up to my xbox

#3 ahhh yes... plama grenades... the joys of stikin em on people and wathcing them run around in circles screaming, knowing they can't do didly squat to save them selves... such joyfull memories... joyfull....

indeed... i managed to score a direct hit on a moving target the entire way across the "chill out map."

I'm sure you've all heard about the new "party" team system. I propos we start a GB team? If any of you can handle it

Well so long as they finally let me use the energy blades, I'm happy.

As far as the level design, I didn't find it sickening. In Halo 1 not all the halls were the same, they gave them minor design differences and each one had different enemies to deal with. So I didn't let it get to me. I think people just need to keep in mind it's just a game. Me, I expect the halls to all look the same if they are all military halls.

And from the looks of it, I'm sure Halo 2 has improved on expanding their level design.

Good game, I only got to play it for about an hour or so early this morning when I got back with the game before just not being able to concentrate because it was close to dawn. They added some interesting new things with the game and I like it, it makes it more fun. It's challenging too, not something everyone should be able to blow through quickly. Anyways, from someone who isn't at all into shooters, great game.

has anyone experienced any problems with the game? I played Fable just fine and every other game I have played on the XBOX works fine but I played for about hours last night and on the map where you drive the scorpion, the game freezes with a very loud SSSQQQQUUUAAAWWWKKK!!!!!!!!! and has to be rebooted. it is within thirty seconds of the same spot, too. The tech support folks were helpful enough to tell me to clean the disk after minutes of holding. then they had me erase everything off the XBOX so all my saved games are gone. Still did not help. damn them. anyone else have similar problems? any advise? I plan to exchange the disk later today and hope that helps.

My friend got the game yesterday and we played it together for a couple hours..and for one, we haven't seen any problems or errors quite yet..and for another thing, I think the energy sword is crap. :P

And as I said before..I went for the dual needlers and was in heaven! The game seemed a tad easy though with 2 people running around with dual weapons. I tried the energy sword and it wasn't really as fun as it could have been really.

But then again..I am one that likes to just run into the middle of a room and start chaotically shooting at everything that moves..and when you are able to play on the OTHER side it gets really confusing with me..so I shoot randomly even moreso.

But in 2 hours I am gonna call up my friend and we will go play at his house again.

oh my god... i had to stand out in the cold for 2 hours to get my copy

and worst part is i stood out there 12 midnight. although i was one of the first people there, i got my copy 20 min after midnight

but it was worth it.

what did ya expect? My advice to you is be like me and invite 2 more friends and play on teams, or get Xbox Live... Xbox Live will get you hooked for hours...

ummm... I would say you have a problem with your Xbox (it may have been out dated like Skuld's) but if you say you have no problem with any other game, then it might be a problem with your copy of Halo 2.

We aren't playing AGAINST anyone..we are playing the campaign, and it isn't boring..it's just easy.

As far as just up and inviting friends..well, the only friend we both share that would even have give a crap about the game is in the army so we can ONLY play with us two.

Also I don't like PvP FPS games all that much, so Xbox Live is out of the question.
