| | | Gorasul and Prince of Qin
I saw these two games at my local BigLots; they are each about $5.99. I was wondering if anyone here have played them. If you have, are the games worth picking up for the price?

| | | Gorasul is a kind of BG2-knockoff. It had balance problems, as I recall, but wasn't too bad. That's the best I can say for it.

| | | gorasul is pretty much a BG-type RPG with a planescape: torment graphical thang going on, and is an annoying game, if only because there are occasional flashes of inspiration. only get it if it's very cheap and you have a lot of patience.

| | Check out King of Dragon Pass, if you want a quality in-depth RPG experience that's a bit off-the-wall. I really should start a new thread for it--but then's I'd probably have to do a review, and that would take too long.  Here's the link to its main page. Check out the overview, screenshots, and tour.

| | hehe, I have noticed your occasional random plugs for it  It looks pretty old school - there are a couple of similar style titles on the SNES - but I must admit I'm intruiged. possibly when I finally get the credit card sorted I'll have a look...
edit: especially now that, thanks to the exchange rate, it'll set me back around £10 + VAT. marvellous stuff.

You may be thinking of the old KOEI historical titles, like Romance of the Three Kingdoms. King of Dragon Pass, however, is a lot more in depth, and far more interactive with both the environment and the people in your tribe. It also has more than 500 plots, most of which are shuffled randomly in any game, so it never plays the same way, twice.
