Uber AC

I want to make a character with a good AC, but I don't know if a shield and heavy armor type or if a monk type would be better. Advice?

Look to the builds Immortal Treant and Lord of the Mountain here:

Category:Character builds - NWN2Wiki, the Neverwinter Nights 2 wiki

Both should give you a good idea of how they are doing it.

Note however that it *is* better to skip some of the extra ac for displacement and mirror image (with a decent dexterity). The Divine Bard is an excellent example of how this can be done.. BUT of course these magical effects to have a limited duration.

i once posted a similar thread about if heavy armor or dexterity is better for high ac. i was told that in the beginning heavy armor and shield is better but then when you start getting magic items that boost dex and ac of clothing (assuming you are at a high level and high dex) dex gives better ac than heavy armour. Then add things like monk ac (if your a monk), tumble , ect.
