Thugs are driving me up the wall

Hello

Is it just me, or are the thugs way overpowered in this game? I have the game difficulty set on Easy and I'm throwing everything I've got at these guys, and they're still wiping out my entire party in like ten seconds. They're tougher than the bosses!

Or do I just suck?

Any suggestions?...

I found that a spellcaster with enough barkskin for every party member is a godsend. Also stoneskin is quite helpful. And if need be you can cheese the rest ability by going away from enemies and resting (between battles to heal).

But yeah I had problems on them too when I first played.

If you're talking about, say, Leldon's Hideout, then you have to be careful about keeping your party together and only fighting a couple of thugs at a time.

the one's when you go to find the informant I had a real problem with my ffirst time around. I find it very effective to bottleneck them in doorways and let your casters go nuts
