| | | Sand disappears after fighting Lorne, is this normal? My problem is this, after fighting Lorne, and being sent back to the Sunken Flagon, Sand is not there, and when I try to select him into the party, his name is available but greyed out.
Is this normal and part of the storyline?
This doesn't seem to be the same bug that causes people to get stuck at the Rite of Tyr when Khelgar disappears. During the Rite of Tyr, I had all characters available, however, only Khelgar, Sand, and Elanee appeared to speak with me, before I was brought to the battle with no problems.
The only problem is after the battle when Sand is not there.
Hope you guys can help. |

| | | Sand isn't supposed to disappear. Have you installed the latest patch?

| | | No I haven't. I'll give it a try, but I understand that installing latest patches don't correct already bugged save games.
I'm going back through all of my seven saves that were before the trial for the murder of ember, and I noticed something odd. Whenever I enter the Sunken Flagon (this is before the trial when I have all members), every NPC seems to be standing at a predesignated spot in the Sunken Flagon. However, Sand is standing right beside me at the door.
I'm thinking maybe the game somehow doesn't load Sand to his predesignated spot whenever I enter the flagon, and thus, after the fight with Lorne, he just disappears as he isn't in the party anymore, and the game doesn't load him there. His ROS file is still available though in the save game folder.
Is this possible? And could someone rectify whether Sand actually does have a predesignated spot in the Flagon? |

| | | summoned familiars can cause party members to get lost. The party member gets exchanged for the familiar.

Which, 1.12 corrects, if it is installed BEFORE it happens, or after such has been corrected.

| | | The familiar bug is, most likely, your culprit. It happened to me, before. You'll, unfortunately, have to install the patch, then reload to an earlier save. | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Rate This Thread | Linear Mode | |
