NWN2 OC Library bug?

Can anyone tell me whether there's a patch for NWN2 fixing bugs? I have installed BOTH NWN2 and the expansion (MotB) and when I reach the Libray in Neverwinter Blacklake District, the books that are supposed to be there on the pedestals containing the riddles I am supposed to solve are just missing, despite the fact that my character is wearing the Veil.

I have also encountered another bug in the beginning, when I found the first crystal at the ruins outside the Harbor, but the sequence where your companion initiates dialogue in a small cutscene does not kicks in. On the other hand, the game runs smoothly without any problems when MotB is not installed. However, its graphics quality is much lower, plus, I have already progressed quite a bit and my saves do not work unless I have MotB installed as well.

Anyone knows anything about any patch available?

The NWN2 launcher includes an update button. Just run it to check for updates every now and then.

Yeah, if you haven't patched your game with the official patches, you should definitely do that. As Avatar said, use the patcher on your NWN2 launcher. Honestly, you're having some strange and serious problems that I've not encountered or heard of. You might consider a full uninstall/reinstall/patch, as well.

I am having the very same problems - with the shard in the beginning and with the archives. I'm in the archives and the pillars do not show the questions I'm supposed to answer. I have the caretaker's veil on and I try to click on the pillars to activate them, but I cannot. This is my second time through the game and I remember having some difficulty getting the pillars to activate last time, but I cannot remember what I finally did to get them to work.

How can I save my character and my game if I uninstall MOB?

Now I'm losing my characters after Shandra is taken and I try to leave the Inn with them. This game is way to buggy after I installed MOB. How to I uninstall MOB and keep the game I'm playing? Thanks!
