monk does not fight?

My monk does not fight in the death god vault. He is lawful neutral and it is 87/51. Pretty frustrating. Can it be due to an alignment shift?

There are also a lot of words ( parry success, parry failure, parry success, parry failure ) I am not sure if parry has anything to do with my monk not fighting?

Parry mode may be activated. I don't think that any char will fight while that is active, as it is a defensive measure. Turn it off (bottom right corner of the screen).

So it seems that the "parry" skill is more or less useless.

Not entirely, but it is bugged. I stopped bothering with it.
