Mask of the Betrayer - Keep Dying, Spoiler

I am in the beginning of Act II. My character keeps getting damaged from someone, I don't know who, and keeps dying. I can't heal him fast enough all of the time. The message I get is that someone killed (my character name). Why is this happening and how do I get rid of whoever is damaging my character. Thanks for any help you can give me.

That sounds odd. Does it still happen when you load your game? When you transition to a new map? When you take off your equipment? When you dismiss your companions?

My situation happens when I rest. It happened when I had the red wizard mage. One rest period, my character killed her and after the rest she had no hit points and the other time my character was killed with the message the edieb noted. For me, I just rested again and (I was only traveling with the red wizard at the time) all hit points were restored on both characters. But its definitely bug like.

At the begininig of act 2 I got the spirit energy guage and when I get to a certain low spirit engergy level then certain things happen include losing hit points every so often and it show up on the chat box as someone damaging your character.

I think that if this happens prior to the okku battle then its a bug or its the same thing that happens prior to get the spirit energy meter.
