key mapping screwed after update.. help

did an update on nwn2. key mapping has changed. every time i try to go to the options it says that the game has encountered an error and boots me back to the desktop. any ideas?

As in everytime you hit escape, the game crashes?

Maybe the best solution to that would be to reinstall the game.
