How do I get Blackguard ;( Im new

Hi

I'm sure this is a stupid question.

I'm new to NWN 2 and I'm trying to make a Blackguard class. I have Fighter 4/ Rogue 1. Im still not getting the option to go to Blackguard. I do have cleave and 5 points in hide. Im neutral evil.. Im not sure what Im doing wrong. Could anyone help me out.

Welcome to the forums...

For your question, taking levels in most prestige class usually requires leveling to around 10+ since you can only get 10 lvls in most of the PrC classes including the BG. I've gone through this same situation a few times when making chars; even if they meet all ability prequisites. So incase you're thinking it's a glitch of some sort - it's not. You just have to level some more.

The prestige classes don't have hidden level requirements. Blackguards need a BAB of +6. You should be at +4 right now. Two more fighter or rogue levels will get you there.

Edit: At 4/3 you should be at +6, so you should be able to take blackguard the next time you level.

Simply by leveling usually solves it.

And the more the merrier. Just make sure you pay attention to all the requirements as SWC's implying.
