Crafting Armor and Weapons +X

Is it possible to create armor and/or weapons with enchantment boni? If so, how? I think I read something about adding certain gems some time ago but I'm not sure. Thx in advance.

If you check the GB NwN 2 equipment database you'll notice a lot of crafting books/recipies as well.

But generally speaking, if you have created some armor or weapons you can place the following enchantments on them:

Armor enchants:
Acid resistance 20
Cold resistance 20
Electricity resistance 20
Fire resistance 20
Sonic Resistance 20
Enchantment +3
Acid resistance 30
Cold resistance 30
Electricity resistance 30
Fire resistance 30
Sonic resistance 30
Enchantment +4:
Enchantment +5
Immunity to critical
Spell resistance 14
Spell resistance 18
Arrow Deflection
Damage reduction 10/magic
Acid resistance 10
