Commander Tann (minor spoiler)

Have anybody succeded with the diplomacy check against vice-commander Vallis on persuading him not to attack Commander Tann after you`ve rescued him?

Because I as hell didn`t. Is it possible at all? I really hate those moments in RPGs where diplomacy\persuation dialogue options are just for flavour.

It is possible, yes. My 2nd time through the game, I had all of my stats set at 40, and the check was successful. What skill in diplomacy is actually needed, I have no idea, but, it is possible.

Well, I had 16 in persuade skill effectively, and I tried like 15 times without succeeding.

It`s a pretty steep requirement for a level 5 character to make the check.
