I thought it would be nice to see (and notice) some banshee's out there on the test-server so I wanted to start a thread where you could post your name and/or brief description. It would also be nice if we could have a 'special' greeting so that we KNOW without saying that we are indeed banshee's.

My character is a little blue halfling by the name of Chyane Drinstar. I've seen only one other halfling out there so I shouldn't be too hard to find.

Well, a secret greeting is very meta-gamish, seeing as our characters probably know very little about the Blades of the Banshee, and perhaps fear to go around broadcasting it to everyone.

I was playing with Saien McGerney at one time, but he died. I might bring him back to the test-server later.

However, when actual Argyle Online is up, he will be back in action, and he will be working towards his personal quest of discovering the meaning behind the Blades of the Banshee, a legacy his deceased father left him with.

The few times I've had time to connect to the testserver I play random character names, I play just to test out the world.
I sometimes use Alanderis Cain though, a Noober/Neeber paranoid character

I've got a pretty good idea as how to play my main char, so I don't use the test sever for my botb character.

I am handling things similar to Zandax - my main BOTB character has not yet made an appearance on the test server. I have been experimenting with another character type of the same class as Neptune (BOTB character) - a cleric/fighter. I am playing her with a totally different personality - opposite of what I normally play. Her name is Charia - and I don't meta game - but if you character meets me I am always interested in a conversation/party mission - and at level 5 I can help some new characters stay alive.

See you all in Argyle

Hmph! Couldn't even save another level 5 character!

For those of you who don't know, my character, Den Brule, was brutally murdered yesterday. Charia and I had had a very entertaining and successful afternoon, killing the goblin chief, the priest of Krullin, and half of the orc army -- by ourselves. To be fair, I doubt even the mighty Thorgrim could have saved me from this group of PKers, though.

If you ever run into Charia and can find an in-game reason for joining up with her (him), you should. Well played, smass!

Edit: I forgot, I've played a couple dozen characters so far, and I've got more than one log-in name, but if the big, dumb half-orc of the day talks about killing "garblins," it's probably me. Den Brule , a human fighter/cleric, was my favorite so far, not because he made it to level 5, but because he had style.

I played a few characters on the test server, i also tried my suppose-to-be in argyle character a Paladin named Demis (what else) but after paying a visit in the Orcs Caves i ended up at the Fongues Plane pretty quick . I'll try a new character maybe tonight or tommorow so i'll let you know. I'll look some of you next time just to keep alive for a while.

*one* thing that is great about Argyle test-severs, is finding out the mortality rate.

One is so used to press: Reload

Well, I'm not a member of the BOTB, but I lurk round GB and am always happy to meet some good players. Currently, I'm playing as Cheyna.

She would really have loved to see more of De Brule ...

As for mortality rate ... I've got about 10 characters on the Fugue plane ...

Played with you a bit today Mysteria - as Charia - she died later on in the orc caves - got a bit too greedy and is in the fugue plane. She will be making a return in the real Argyle when it is up and running. In the meantime I will be playing several other characters.

If anyone is going into the orc caves in the next few hours you can find some serious equipment on her corpse.

Well i have played like 20 plus characters. But the problem is that i never get a chance to roleplay them. I have gone through a couple of elves, halfings and dwarves. The only characters that do survive when i play is Human and he has to be a Paladin. I have some great roleplaying ideas and stuff, but none of them come to fruitation, as they never survive their first adventure. Though i have had 2 level 3 Paladins and 1 level 2 and a couple of near leveling. I got some block to when it comes to other characters it seems.

My log in is Faisal Aziz, and am playing Zia these days another Paladin. And i have met most of the BotB players in character, like Charia and then Nadia, also Drinstar, saw Demis once or twice, AJ a couple of times and some others.

@Wolven86, a little of topic but have you consider changing you OS? From personal experience XP need too much resources maybe with a different OS the game could be playable (win 2k or 98se), but you will still need to get at least a new graphic card

I saw 'Lost One' yesterday while walking by the crossroads. Sounds like a story behind that name.

Lots of story and lots of problems ... =D
Well, at least he's no longer raving mad ... though he's still strange, I have to admit.
