| weird graphics problem
hi,
i seem to have a weird problem when I just start the game. I double click to start the game, the game then shows all the logos of the companies one by one and then the intro movies. I can click or esc through all of them. When it comes to the new/load/multiplayer/options screen, i see ALL black, with only a mouse pointer in the middle, which I can move.
Apparently I can 'guess' where 'load' is and click on it, because I hear the sound of clicking. Sometimes, by clicking on these invisible buttons, the screen becomes normal again and I can see the menu and the graphics. Sometimes, nothing happens.
The first few times I started the game, I could alt-tab out and then in again, and then the black screen would become normal again. but this hasn't worked the past few times.
I guess I could click around and then the screen would appear, but it is rather annoying to go through this everytime I start the game.
It is a newly-built PC with a very good processor and good graphics card and enough memory and i think theres no hardware problem. I can play other games fine. I play NWN fine when im actually playing...its just that loading the initial menu is always painful...
