Trying to find a good computer game

I have been looking for a good online RPG game for my computer, i have been thinking of either Diablo 2 or Neverwinter Nights but i just don't know how it is. How is the actual gameplay?

Depends what you put into it and what your favorite type of play is.

If you wish to play online you must differentiate between roleplaying and "action". NwN offers many possibilities for roleplaying, especially when playing online, but you have to "shop around" for servers.

If you prefere action and pace instead, then I'd expect Diablo might be more up the right alleym although there is plenty of action NwN out also.

So basically:
Roleplaying and/or some action then go with NwN
Mostly action (Hack n' slash) then I'd proberly go for Diablo 2.

The gameplay in NwN (can't speak for Diablo, but the diablo forum might be a better place to ask that also) will be different from the server to server.
Generally speaking (from roleplaying point of views) it is more up to yourself to create the gameplay in NwN then diablo.

The single player NwN is a different ballgame, where much of the emphasisme is placed on action and less on roleplaying.
But online - it is different - if you find the right servers.

Personally - I'd never play Diablo, because that game doesn't appeal to me (to much hack n' slash), but NwN is currently the best multiplayer game I've played. But as I say - with NwN - it is mostly based on what server you play on.

NWN is a good one, as is BG and BGII if you haven't already played. I liked Icewind Dale, but haven't done II yet.

I also just bought Temple of Elemental Evil, and it's sweet so far!

Although personally I find BG2 severly poor in multiplayer - it is only suited for single player (in my oppinion)

IMOP diablo2 is much like NwN in the way that you have to play it online to get the most out of it, D2 might be a little better in Single player as it has randomly generated maps and hence you don't get the same booredom factor as theofficial camplain in Nwn. On the other hand in NwN ther'es probably almost 2000 modules to be played and all with a different story line... D2 has much more to offer in replayability than NwN IMO but if you go out and look for modules for NwN you will be stuck for a really long time playing through modules and finding your favourites
