Trapping the Blue Dragon in the Dragon Sphere

HELP!!! I meant to kill the dragon first before trapping it into the sphere (then placing it on the pedestal). I have now trapped the blue dragon alive and cant seem to undo it. I wanted to trap it dead in order to decrease the Red Dragons hit points to 'badly injured' by feeding it the sphere with the dead blue dragon inside.

Tried putting the sphere back into the fountain, right clicking on the sphere (in my inventory) even destroying the fountain.... (did not save)

Who can help me or do I now need to take the Red Dragon on at full strenght?? If I do.. I'm f*cked!!

Ta

Once you have trapped the dragon, the only way to change that is to reload from an earlier save.

You can still kill the red dragon even without weakening it though ... what class are you playing?
