Transition to Chapter Two (Problem)

I've just finished Chapter One and have talked to that person that you need to to transfer into level two. The Module loads and then I have to choose a new character because:

"Invalid Character: Player Login Refused"

I then have to select a brand new character instead of continuing with my lvl 7 fighter. I have tried saving my character just before the end but I can't access that character, same message comes up.

My verson is: 1.10.6710
I have neither SOU nor HOU

I haven't used any cheats/cracks/editors/etc...

Is there any way I can continue without having to start over?

Try this thread.

I found this as the second hit in a search for "invalid character" with this thread as the first.

Yes! All hail Darthel!

Sorry but that, didn't fully explore for a search button, this being my first post and all, problem solved!

Thanks for the quick response!

Being polite also applies to you Kazzix

I might misunderstand your meaning - but if I can, so can others - and we try to keep a friendly atmosphere around here
The written word has great potential for misunderstanding

I apologize for the misunderstanding; I was intending to point the original poster to the search function and was evidently a little heavy handed.
If I had meant to be rude it would have been CLEARLY evident.;
